The BCMEA Honour Ensembles Program is an opportunity for BC students-musicians to come together and perform challenging repertoire in a high-calibre performance setting. The experiences, musical development, and new friendships built through this program will last for years. Each participating student-musician then brings a wealth of knowledge back to his/her respective school to share with peers. We are very proud to provide this program knowing how beneficial it can be to music education across British Columbia. 

Important Steps:

    Step 1: Visit the Honour Ensembles information page on the BCMEA     website.

    Step 2: Download and Read the Application Information PDF and all other

                    relevant documents.

    Step 3: Complete online application form on the same page from Step 1 above.

    Step 4: Signed Participation Agreement faxed to 604.648.9679
    Step 5: Completed Teacher Reference form faxed to 604.648.9679

    Step 6: Audition Recording mailed to appropriate ensemble co-ordinator prior to

                    April 18th, 2011

Students selected to participate in an Honour Ensemble must attend all rehearsals and performances listed

below. Any student not in attendance for all or part of any rehearsal may be asked to withdraw from the

ensemble without refund of participation fees. Ensemble Coordinators will confirm the exact dates,

times, and locations for rehearsals in an information package sent to successful applicants.
